Subject: Drag and Drop no longer working
Feedback Type: Question
Product Area: Notes Client
Technical Area: Functionality
Platform: Windows
Release: 8.5.3
Reproducible: Always

Our security group is testing out an application called 'PowerBroker' that allows for some very granular end user rights control within the Windows environment. I'm in the test group.

Before PB was installed, I could drag and drop a file into a RT field; now I can't. The pointer stays as a 'no circle'.

I can copy/paste the file into the field.
I can use the attach icon to attach the field.

Our suspicion is that there is some permission that exists between the OS and Notes that PB is blocking. We are unable to see any OS commands generated when the drag/drop is initiated.

PB has been configured to allow me to run Notes as an admin.

I was wondering if anyone else uses the product and if you've seen anything like this.

Thanks for your comments.

Doug
